Israeli Hit TV shows ‘Fauda’ and ‘Prisoners of War’ in North American cable debut via Jewish Life TV
If you haven’t yet seen the hit Israeli TV series’ “Fauda” and “Prisoners of War,” why not?
Maybe it’s because you don’t have streaming services, or you just haven’t gotten around to them yet. Whatever the reason, JLTV (Jewish Life TV) on July 1 will launch the first ever North American screenings of these series on cable television. If you subscribe to DirecTV, Spectrum or Xfinity, you will have access to JLTV.
Of the decision to acquire these shows, JLTV’s Steven Paul said, “Living in such unprecedented times, we look to deliver strong, compelling and award-winning content for viewers of all ages and all faiths who share an interest in the Jewish experience and the State of Israel.”
“Fauda” and “Prisoners of War” will air every Thursday night at 8 p.m. local time, followed by the original new series “Inside Fauda” and “Inside Prisoners of War” at 10:30 p.m., with never-before-seen interviews about the making of both series. Additional runs of all programs will take place on Sundays with “Fauda” at 4 p.m. and “Prisoners of War” at 5 p.m. followed by the “Inside” programs.
“We are thrilled to bring these phenomenal shows to our network,” said Senior Vice President News & Programming Brad Pomerance. “We dig deep with several members of the cast, as well as writers and directors.”
