Comedian Avi Liberman recovering from serious car accident

SoCal Jewish comedian Avi Liberman, who among other things is known for his “Comedy for Koby” tours in Israel benefiting the Koby Mandell Foundation, was in a serious car accident in Miami on Sunday night.
His brother Micah sent out the following information: “For all of Avi’s friends and fans an update:
Avi was in a serious car accident yesterday. He sustained serious injuries but he is recovering very well. Doctors are concerned for audiences everywhere (sic) that Avi is on the path to a full recovery and will be performing again in the near future. Avi is an induced coma in Miami. He has entertained tens of thousands in audiences worldwide and shared his gift for making us laugh. Beyond that, he’s just a good man with a good heart. Comedy for Koby also issued the following statement: “While [Avi] sustained serious injuries, we are encouraged by reports from his family that he is recovering very well.
We look forward to having him back on our stages very soon. We wish Avraham Shimon ben Sarah Leah a Refuah Sheleima – a full and complete recovery, and ask you to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
