Garcetti Attends ‘No on the Recall’ Rally

Mayor Eric Garcetti was one of a dozen local and state leaders who attended a rally for “No on the Recall” of Governor Gavin Newsom, held by the Los Angeles Federation of Labor in downtown Los Angeles on Aug. 7.

Garcetti spoke to hundreds of assembled members from different local unions about how Newsom reflects California’s values and that during the pandemic, “while other states waited, while other leaders blamed and demonized the masks and now vaccines, Gavin Newsom led.”

The recall election is on Sept. 14. The deadline to register to vote is on Aug. 30. Learn more here.
